The origin of Locke Development
The most important work is often made unnecessarily difficult by the systems designed to support it.
Legal matters, contracts, litigation, research, evidence, real-estate transactions, and large document sets
share a common problem. The information usually exists—but it is scattered across documents, applications,
databases, emails, deadlines, and individual decisions. Finding the information is only the first step.
The harder problem is understanding what it means, how it relates to everything else, what requires attention,
and what needs to happen next.
Locke Development was created to address that problem.
What we refused to build
From the beginning, the objective was never simply to place artificial intelligence inside traditional software.
The goal was to build systems that understand the structure of the work around them: the documents, relationships, obligations, evidence, deadlines, decisions, and context that determine the outcome.
